3D GPS machine control
Our equipment runs 3D GPS machine control. The job's 3D design is loaded into the machine, and GPS tracks the blade or bucket against it, so the operator sees exactly how much to cut or fill as they work.
- Fewer survey stakes. Grade comes from the design, not from stakes that get knocked out.
- Less rework. Ditches, pads and road profiles reach grade in fewer passes.
- Safer sites. Fewer people on foot around equipment checking grade.
Federal Highway Administration studies found 3D machine guidance raised productivity up to 50% on some operations and cut survey costs up to 75%. (FHWA, 2013)
